Surf Curse strikes again with "Hour of the Wolf", building more anticipation for their upcoming LP Heaven Surrounds You - out 9/13.

Surf Curse just continues to raise the bar. The talented duo, comprised of Nick Rattigan and Jacob Rubeck, have been gearing up for their third LP, Heaven Surrounds You, with a string of singles "Disco", "Midnight Cowboy", and now "Hour of the Wolf". On "Hour of the Wolf", the group taps into their more melancholic and emotional songwriting while keeping the production refined and driving. The previous two singles are relatively lighthearted so with the dark-toned "Hour of the Wolf", it's apparent that all sides of Surf Curse will be present on Heaven Surrounds You. This dark feeling is intensified by the accompanying video - directed by Rattigan. The black and white video features a distraught Nick sitting at a table seemingly preparing for some sort of ritual. As the song progresses, more characters are introduced circling around the table, lighting candles, and eventually one cuts their hand for Nick to bath in the blood. It's gothic and morose and beautiful and the perfect companion.
