Surf Curse "Disco"

The LA band takes a leap forward in the best way possible on new track "Disco". The single from their upcoming album Heaven Surrounds You, out September 13th.

I love when bands can successfully progress and expand their sound without losing themselves. Surf Curse, LA's beloved duo comprised of Nick Rattigan and Jacob Rubeck, do just that with new single "Disco". The lush and shimmering production opens the door to the indie-pop world, but their punk energy doesn't close it on their day one fans. I'll put it this way, the song can be played to a packed crowd of moshing kids at The Smell and also a packed crowd of dancing 25-year-olds at Zebulon. That's a difficult task to accomplish.

To accompany the song release, the band put out a video directed by Rattigan that is just as addicting. It features a couple getting home from a night out and proceeding to have potentially the best two-person dance party ever filmed. Check it out below and catch Surf Curse on the road this Fall.
