SOUTH TREES - "WHATEVER"

South Trees is a band from La Puente, CA who recently released their debut EP House Parties. The project is a very impressive debut filled with a mix of delicate and distorted guitar lines and lo-fi vocals. My personal favorite on the EP is "Whatever". The guitar layers are so lovely and put you in a dream-like state and the lyrics paint an honest picture of struggling with anxiety. It's a wonderful listen. Joe Bruce & ClarkWork "To Be Great"

Joe Bruce and ClarkWork release their new collaborative EP To Be Great. Joe Bruce (vocals) and ClarkWork (production) seamlessly work so well together with Bruce's conscious lyrics married perfectly to ClarkWork's smooth yet hard-hitting production. The standout song to me is the EP's closer and title track "To Be Great". The song has such heavy lyrics, but remains hopeful. You can tell that Bruce has been on a remarkable journey in his life and has a meaningful message behind each word. Check out the full EP To Be Great - out everywhere now!

Da' T.R.U.T.H. x Swoope x Greg Cox - "NEVER FAIL (Remix)"

Philadelphia's Da' T.R.U.T.H. recruits Swoope for the official remix of his song "NEVER FAIL", off the recently released EP Chasing Ghosts. The new verse from Swoope adds a strong layer to an already standout track. The song is about the doubts that people have when life's struggles are heavy, but to ultimately hold on to your faith. Christian or not, this is a message that I think everyone can understand and adding Swoope's perspective only makes it that much more relatable. Check out the song here!
